DETERRENCE TO ADVANCE PUBLIC SAFETY
We provide innovative solutions for the law enforcement
to tackle threats and increase public safety and security
Deterrence is the capability of applying preventative measures, that are specially designed, to prevent adversarial escalation of any nature, which may be to the detriment of peace.
Successful deterrence requires a multi-domain effort, with law enforcement agencies playing a crucial part. Modern, complex, and ever-evolving threats to the public safety and security are utilising aspects of modern culture, technologies, freedoms, and generally taking advantage of globalisation. Deterrence can be used not only to strengthen the defence sector, but also to tackle threats to public safety and security within a state.
Deterrence Center considers long and short term solutions to tackle threats before they evolve. We develop strategies and tactics form a theoretical, methodological and operational viewpoint.
We merge the quality of academic methodologies and outputs with the dynamic and operational nature of the law enforcement.
WHY WE DO IT

TO INCREASE PUBLIC SAFETY
It is of crucial importance to develop deterrence strategies that are fit for the threats of our contemporary and interconnected world, and capabilities that have a power to prevent adversarial actions.

With law enforcement being a source of safety and security for many people, the ability to be both resilient and agile is crucial. We provide solutions for being a few steps ahead.

TO DETER RADICALISATION, EXTREMISM AND TERRORISM
We help to develop deterrence strategies that are focused on pre-emption, detection, analysis, risk assessment and management to build and shape capabilities that tackle threats before they become actionable.

We draw on multidisciplinary knowledge, intelligence and operational expertise in order to develop tactics that deter adverse and destructive actors, and prevent the escalation of multi-faceted threats and conflicts.

TO DETER CRIME AND CRIMINALITY
Crimes have expanded in their scope and scale due to a number of reasons, which are often formally and informally discussed within the sector.
Criminal behaviours have also fluctuated - some decriminalised, others further regulated.

Deterrence Center provides research, analysis, training and consultancy to aid not only understanding complex criminal threats, but also in the development of multi-disciplinary pro-active solutions to stop these threats from escalating.

TO BUILD TRUST
Successful deterrence requires smooth cooperation, partnership and respect across all parties involved.
Deterrence Center provides innovative solutions on how to build trust and confidence on an internal and external level.

We provide training programmes and tailored courses that include familiarisation with modern topics and trends, neurodiversity, and educating against racism, misogyny, and outdated harmful beliefs in a workplace.

TO STRENGTHEN THE DETERRENCE POSTURE
Preparedness is achieved via collaboration and partnership across the public and private sectors. Educated and confident communities are a deterrent in itself.

Deterrence Center is curating an ecosystem where the society, political system and military sector are resilient and agile. We do that via research, analyses, education and training, taking into consideration value, money and time.
Deterrence Center is also promoting an effective and efficient multi-agency dialogue to achieve the whole of society defence approach.
