Deterrence is the capability of applying preventative measures, that are specially designed, to prevent adversarial escalation of any nature, which may be to the detriment of peace.

Successful deterrence requires a multi-domain effort, with law enforcement agencies playing a crucial part. Modern, complex, and ever-evolving threats to the public safety and security are utilising aspects of modern culture, technologies, freedoms, and generally taking advantage of globalisation. Deterrence can be used not only to strengthen the defence sector, but also to tackle threats to public safety and security within a state.

Deterrence Center provides advice on a variety of approaches, tools and training to increase the multifaceted deterrence capability.

We analyse and develop detailed profiles of adversaries, and propose ways of de-escalation of tensions.

We also tailor a range of long and short term deterrence strategies and tactics are modeled and tested. This modus operandi is an on-going process to ensure that:

'Deterrence to Protect the Public' training programme is based on the principles of transformation, inter-operability and standardisation. It brings together and activates theoretical understanding of modern deterrence by the law enforcement, followed by its operational applications and implications.
